    Nurse, 55 Harrogate

    The mother-of-five was admitted to Leeds General Infirmary, a hospital where she used to work, after falling ill.

    An agency nurse at Harrogate District Hospital with more than 30 years' experience, she died on 13 April.

    "It meant everything to be a nurse, she's being doing it for as long as I remember," her daughter Naomie said.

    RIP

    Mr Jamil, 57, from St Albans, had worked for the West Hertfordshire NHS Trust since 2006.

    The healthcare assistant, a father-of-two, came to the UK from Pakistan, where he was a qualified doctor, before joining the hospital trust.

    He began his time at the trust at Hemel Hempstead Hospital before moving to Watford, where he worked in Bluebell ward.

  • Linnette Cruz

    Tributes have been paid to a dental nurse who died after testing positive for Covid-19, with colleagues describing how she brought "love, light and joy" to everyone she met.

    Linnette Cruz, 51, died on April 14 after being treated for coronavirus in the intensive care unit at Morriston Hospital in Swansea.

    Mrs Cruz was senior head nurse at the Brynteg dental practice in Sketty, Swansea.

    Practice owner Nik Patel said her friends and colleagues were devastated by her death.

    We never saw you close your eyes, never heard you sigh, the hardest part of it all is we never said goodbye, we will always love and miss you, God bless, sadly missed by your Mum, sisters- Cathy, Michelle, Sara- partners Paul, Frank and Spencer, daughter Samantha, grandsons, sons Danny and Jamie loved by all his Nieces, Nephews, friends and work Colleagues.Brian was a funny, loving person with a heart of gold.

    He lived in Huyton, Knowsley on Merseyside & worked in a call centre.

    Brian lost his fight against COVID19 in hospital on 14th April 2020.

    My dad, battled dementia for 5 years but was taken by covid-19.
    A fun, family man, with an AMAZING sense of humour and had people laughing until the very end, truly missed.

    Lawrie lived in Shirley then a moved to a care home in South Norwood. When he lost the fight on 14th April against Coronavirus he was 73 years old.

    Lawrie leaves behind his wife Carol Craig as well as Darren Craig, & Nicola Craig.

    His favourite song was Purple Rain - Prince

  • Jeff Peter Emons

    RIP

    Jeff was a lovely man who loved his family and whose life was cut short by this horrible virius . He will be missed and will be forever in our thoughts.

    Jeff worked as a printer in Basildon in Essex and leaves behind Penny Emons, Andrew Luke Emons & Xander Emons.

    Jeff lost his fight with coronavirus in hospital on 13th April, 2020 at the age of 58.

    Theatre assistant, 57 Wrexham

    Andy Treble, a theatre assistant at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, was a "kind man" who "always had a smile on his face", said his sister Maria Molloy.

    The 57-year-old died at the hospital - where he had worked for almost 40 years - on 15 April.

    His 17-year-old daughter, Emily, said: "He always cheered me up by watching Laurel and Hardy together. He was so kind, so loving and he will be missed forever."

    GP, 57 Croydon

    Dr Krishan Arora was "extremely well-liked and worked tirelessly to care for his patients", his colleague Dr Agnelo Fernandes said.

    The 57-year-old, who worked as a GP in Croydon, south London, died on 15 April.

  • Lourdes Campbell

    Healthcare assistant, 54 Bolton

    Lourdes Campbell, originally from the Philippines, was a popular health care assistant who was "dedicated to patient care".

    The 54-year-old, who worked as part of the Bolton NHS Trust nursing team, died on 15 April.

    Chief executive Fiona Noden said Ms Campbell had always been "quiet, diligent and compassionate".

    Radiographer Barrow

    "Simon was special, a true gentleman and a great role model to all," his wife Nicky said in a tribute. The radiographer worked at Furness General Hospital in Barrow, Cumbria, until his death on 15 April.

    "Simon had a fantastic sense of humour. His work ethic and personality were like sunshine and light even in the darkest of times," his wife added.

  • George Brocking

    RIP

    George was a beloved husband to Shirley for 41 years. Dad to Tracey and Emma. An amazing grandpa and adad for Teagan, Eli, Robyn and Callan. He was a funny man who loved to make people laugh and pose for a photo.

    George worked as a Road Sweeper, living in Tooting Bec, London.

    He leaves behind his wfie Shirley Brocking, Two daughters Tracey and Emma and 4 grandchildren.

    His favourite tv was any old cowboy movie and he loved listening to anything by Diana Ross or Queen.

    Fun Fact George had run the London Marathon.

    He lost the fight against the coronavirus on 15th April, 2020 at the age of 66 in hospital.

  • Dr Kamlesh Kumar Masson

    RIP

    Dr Kamlesh Kumar Masson was a GP who worked in the NHS for 47 years before passing away from coronavirus.

    According to his son, Dr Masson contracted the virus whilst he was working. As a result, he started to suffer with bilateral pneumonia requiring admission to Basildon Hospital on March 22 and then University College Hospital on March 31 - his 78th birthday.

    He lost his battle with Covid-19 on April 16.

  • Dennis Michael Prosser

    My stepdad for 42yrs. Lovely husband to my mum and mumpy and great mumpy to his grandchildren. Always telling jokes and stories and used to walk miles while having a crafty can of cider. He then got vascular dementia and spent the last 5yrs in a care home before covid 19 cruely took him from us. My mum's heartbroken and we all miss him 💛

    Dennis lived in Cheltenham and had worked as a Proof reader before retiring. He leaves behind a Wife, Stepdaughter and family. He loved to tell stories and watch football. Dennis's favourite sayting was 'Our kid'

    He lost the fight against the coronavirus in a carehome on 16th April 2020 at the age of 82.

    Our beloved Dad, who fathered six terrific Son's will always remain in our hearts.

    Ronald, who came from Leatherhead in Surrey, also leaves behind 4 Grand Children and 1 Great Grandchild.

    Ronald's favourite song was Jonny Be Good by Chuck Berry.

    He lost his fight against the coronavirus on 16th April 2020 in Hospital at the age of 84.

  • James Francis Reilly

    RIP

    Dad was admitted to hospital for an emergency kidney operation and was discharged a few days later. He was then readmitted having contracted covid-19 on his first admission. We were told he had a negative swab but a few hours later we were told the results were wrong and he was positive. He deteriorated very quickly and was cruelly snatched away the following day, we were not able to say our goodbyes.

    Mom then had all the symptoms of covid and was very poorly, we were really worried we would lose mom too. Thankfully she is now recovering well.

    Mom and dad had been so careful, self isolating since early March. To be taken from us in such a cruel way has left our family devastated,

    James was a Retired driving instructor and bus driver who lived in Birmingham but formerly Co Meath in Ireland.

    He leaves behind his wife of 60 years Betty, 4 children, 7 grandchildren and a sister.

    James lost his fight with coronavirus on 16th April 2020 in hospitla at the age of 85.

    Midwife, 66 Wigan

    Midwife Linda Clarke was a "valued" colleague who brought "many new lives" into the borough of Wigan and will be "greatly missed", her local trust has said.

    Mrs Clarke was a delivery suite co-ordinator at Royal Albert Edward Infirmary.

    Silas Nicholls, chief executive at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust, said she died on 17 April.

  • Ruben Muñoz Jr

    Nursing assistant, 49 Redhill

    Ruben Munoz, who died on 17 April, will be remembered as a "beloved husband and amazing father" who was "so proud" of his NHS family, his relatives have said.

    The father-of-two had been with the health service since 2010, and worked on the Woodland Ward at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill.

    He was a "highly respected and talented" nursing assistant and a "much-loved friend" to many at the hospital.

  • Vivek Sharma

    Occupational therapist, 58 Medway

    The "kind and generous" father-of-two was remembered as a gentle soul who was "passionate" about being a voice for staff.

    The Medway Community Healthcare, based in Kent, said he was a "valued" member of staff and someone who was "always happy to help".

    The 58-year-old, who had reportedly been isolating from the end of March with underlying health conditions, died on 17 April.

    Peter lost his fight against Coronavirus in Hospital on 17th April 2020. He was a one in a million who would help anyone. Peter was known by his friends and family for always smiling. He loved Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison.

    Peter came from Hull where he worked as a driver.

    Peter leaves behinfd his partner Sharon, daughters Leanne & Hayley, sons David, Craig & Mark

    Nurse, 53 London

    Michael Allieu, a "vibrant" and "larger than life character" died on 18 April at Homerton hospital in Hackney, London, where he had worked as a staff nurse since 2007.

    An acute care nurse, Mr Allieu was "well-known and very well-liked" throughout the hospital, hospital chief executive Tracey Fletcher said.

    Nurse, 55 London

    Mother-of-two Josephine Peter was "passionate, hardworking and always putting others before herself", her husband, Thabo has said.

    He described her as "my heroine" according to Trish Armstrong-Child, chief executive of Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust.

    The "bubbly and kind" agency nurse, who lived in Hayes, west London, but worked at a hospital in Southport, Merseyside, had told friends she wanted to return to her native South Africa after 18 years to be with her children and granddaughter.

    Healthcare assistant King's Lynn

    Chrissie Emerson was a "valued" healthcare assistant at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) in King's Lynn, Norfolk, bosses said.

    A "much-loved" wife to Michael and "cherished" mother and grandmother, Mrs Emerson died over the weekend of 18-19 April, the hospital said.

  • Dr Craig Wakeham

    RIP

    Dr Wakeham, 59, a married father-of-two had worked at the Cerne Abbas surgery in Dorset for three decades.

    The village surgery said he had been "fighting coronavirus in Dorset County Hospital for many days" after testing positive for Covid-19.

    A message on the surgery website said: "He was a leading light in both the Clinical Commissioning Group and Local Medical Committee, as well as a devoted husband and father to his two boys.
